¶ Work
If you want an easy way to earn more coins and unique items, you can "work" a job on the bot. The /work list command gives you a complete list of all the possible jobs you can try.
Each job has a required number of hours per day you must work in order to keep the job. The /work list command will show you what each job pays, how often you can work, the minimum number of hours required to work each day, and the hours required to unlock it.

¶ Applying for a job
You can see all of the possible jobs with the /work list command. Each job requires a certain number or work hours to unlock it, so you have to begin by working lower level jobs to unlock higher paying ones. You can see how many hours you've worked to date by checking your /profile and using the drop-down menu to go to the work section.
If you meet the required work hours, you can apply for any job by using the /work apply job: command.
If you decide you don't like the job you are working, you can resign at anytime with the /work resign command. If you resign from a job, you have to wait 3 hours before you can apply for another one.
¶ Earning Coins and Items (Working!)
Once you've applied for a job, you use the /work shift command to work throughout the day. Each time you do the command you'll earn coins for working, and you have a chance to earn your job's unique item. Each job has a different cooldown after you work before you can work again, but you can use the Energy Drink item to shorten it.
If you do not meet your job's required work hours for a week or more, you'll be fired. You can also be fired if you are caught robbing other users, but if you use a Fake ID before each rob, your boss won't notice and your job will be safe. If you are fired from a job, you have to wait 6 hours before you can apply for a new one.
¶ Earning Promotions
If you want to earn more money from your job, you'll need to get promoted. In order to receive a promotion, you need to work more than 1.5x the required work hours, you need to avoid failing or having your boss angry because you robbed, and you need to have had the job for at least 12 hours.
If you meet all of the requirements, then the first time you work at the start of a new UTC day you'll get a notice you were promoted and your pay has increased. If you work 4x the required amount with no fails, you also have a 50% chance to receive 2 promotions at once. If you earn 10 promotions, you will receive a work star, which increases your chance to receive items when working. You cannot earn more than 20 promotions per job.
¶ Earning Work Stars
Work stars give a slight extra luck boost (per star) on getting job items from a job. Each star only applies to the job you earned it for, and ther eis no limit to how many stars you earn.
Every 10 promotions you earn, you will receive a work star.
You cannot earn more than 20 promotions for a job, though, so if you want to earn more stars you have to resign (/work resign) and apply (/work apply job:) again and start from 0 promotions back to 20 to get the next star.
