Every server has the option to keep robbing and bankrobbing (also known as heisting) enabled or disabled. This creates a challenge for users because if they want to rob others, they have to risk being robbed themselves. Users also have the option to enable passive mode to protect themselves from all forms of robbing, but then they cannot participate in robbing or wager games.
With the /bankrob
command, you and others can try bankrobbing the money from another user's bank balance. This only works if at least 1 other person joins the bankrob, and you cannot bankrob people on your own.
The more users join the bankrob, the higher chance of succeeding, but the payouts will be smaller, as those are evenly divided over all the successful bankrobbers.
To start a bankrob, you need to have at least 10,000 coins in your wallet. The same counts for the other users trying to join the bankrob.
The one exception is if you are joining or starting a server bankrob. Server bankrobs are done through the /serverevents command, and do not require any money in your wallet.
Be aware that joining a bankrob may result in you being fined or dying. If you get fined, you lose a huge chunk of any money in your wallet. If you die, you may lose coins or items if you don't have a lifesaver on you or haven't used the apple item recently.
If someone is trying to bankrob you and you wish to stop it, try to immediately use the /use item: Cell Phone
command. Then, click the "Call the police" button in order to stop the bankrob. Once you call, the heist will fail, and all of the users partaking in the heist will automatically pay you as a way to compensate for the attempted bank robbery.
If you are too slow or use this feature when a bankrob is not being done against you, you could be fined by the police and lose money from your wallet.
You can enable passive mode by using the /settings command. Passive means that you cannot interact with other users except people you've added with /friends
, and users cannot interact with you, including to rob or heist you.
Passive mode will expire if you don't run any commands for 5 days, even if you are on a /vacation. If you do take a vacation, using the /vacation command counts as running a command and will not break your vacation.
With the /rob
command, you can try to rob another user's wallet balance. This has a chance of either failing, stealing a tiny portion, or stealing "almost everything they have". If you see the "everything" message, you have stolen the max amount you can steal from someone, but not necessarily everything they have.
Users can have a rob shield if they are a premium user or have certain items that give a boost, and the rob shield will prevent you from stealing a certain percentage of their wallet. You also can only steal 100 times what you have in your wallet.
For example, the minimum amount of coins you need in your wallet to rob someone is 10,000, so if you can only steal 100 times, the max amount you could steal if you stole "everything" would be 1,000,000 coins.
With every robbery, there is also a chance you "drop" some coins while escaping. When you drop coins, you lose a portion of your rob, and it goes to the bot.
It is possible to fail a robbery if:
